Pathfinder - Carrion Crown
The town weapon and armoursmith, and the only Dwarf in the village
Jorfa is one of Ravengro’s most jealously guarded assets, for her skill at the forge is out of keeping with what one would expect to find in such a small town. Jorfa never speaks to her neighbors about her past—she’s lived in Ravengro for so long that locals see her as more of an institution than a neighbor. In truth, Jorfa had a promising career in the Five Kings Mountains as a soldier, but on one patrol she panicked and abandoned her platoon during an attack on an enclave of duergars – something about being attacked by foul smelling un-living corpses. She didn’t stop running until she reached western Ustalav, where she heard a call for skilled crafters to aid in the foundation of a new town — Ravengro. Jorfa arrived only a month after Harrowstone was finished, and has lived in Ravengro ever since. Now approaching old age, she’s taken on a few promising apprentices but remains tight-lipped about her life before she fled her kin — she still worries that she’s being hunted for deserting her platoon.
When the heroes arrived in Ravengro, she immediately believed that she was being hunted especially with the arrival of both a Paladin of Torag and an Inquisitor of Pharasma. It was not until she was befriended by the Paladin that she realised that he was not there to find her, but to pay his respects to Professor Lorrimor, a residence who had died recently.
The two became good friends and once the dwarf located the ruins of the ruined Torag Monastery in the forest just outside of Ravengro, the two agreed to help rebuild the temple to its former glory. It is clear that a kin-ship has formed between the two, to the point that the Paladin has lost interest in the heroes and has focused his attention of the monastery.
